Besides academics, the school gives equal importance to extra curricular and co-curricular activities like quizzes, debates, competitions – inter-class, inter house and inter school, science and math exhibitions, sports, elocution, art and craft,social occasions, athletics and several other competitions for overall development of the girls. The school also arranges career guidance and personality development sessions for the students. At AIAPS, co-curricular activities are structured and balanced with the scholastic academic curriculum so that every student gets the opportunity to learn beyond studies.

Students are given the opportunity to speak on stage during morning assembly. Topics are given to them .They host programs at various occasions.

The students are trained in folk dances, skits, plays. The school host various intra and inter school competitions.

A quiz is a brief assessment used in education to gauge the skills, abilities and knowledge of students. The school encourages students to participate in various quiz competitions held at district, state and national level like Bournvita Quiz, Dell Champs etc.

The BSG is the national Scouting and Guiding Association of India founded by H. N. Kunzru on 7th November 1950. It is affiliated to the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. The mission of Scouting is to contribute to the education of young people in achieving their physical, intellectual, emotional, social potential as individuals and as responsible citizens.

     

The AIAPS has been part of the Scouts and Guides since 2017. Currently, 150 girls are registered as Girl Guides from class V to class VII and 80 girls are registered as Bulbuls from class III and IV.

Sports Day is celebrated every year with great zeal and enthusiasm.
