LILA POONAWALA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Lila Poonawala Scholarship was started in the year 2013-14. It is an educational trust whose vision is to contribute to the empowerment of Indian women by supporting academically outstanding and financially deserving girls, fondly called Lila Juniors, to pursue higher education. In the first batch of 2013-14, 19 girls were selected from class VII.
The education of these girls is taken care of by the foundation till their graduation. Till now they have selected 170 girls for the scholarship. The selected girls are supported financially for their fees, books, uniforms, shoes. They even counsel students and parents in making right choices of their careers.
DR. ALAM’S SCHOLARSHIP
In all, 10 students from class IX and X receive Brigadier Dr. Alam’s Scholarship every year. The girls who are selected are from financially poor backgrounds. They get Rs 200/- per month and the scholarship continues if they obtain 70 % in all subjects.
