District Level School Chess Competition 2024, was organized by the Primary Education Department.From our school, 5 students of std 6 & 7 participated in this competition. A total of 5000 students from Pune participated in this game. There were five rounds on the first day. From that, three of our students got an opportunity to participate on 8th August, 2024. On 8th August 2024, altogether 100 students participated. They played four rounds. These 3 students received keychains as a token of appreciation. This article has also been published in the Urdu newspaper ”Inqilab”. The competition was organized to increase concentration, mental ability, thinking power and perseverance, the aim of which was to develop the mental development of the students.
